What is Video encryption?

Video encryption means the camera feed is scrambled in transit and on the device, so an image cannot be read or watched by anyone without the key. Arenti, Baby Monitor Direct, Baby Plus, bonoch and Bungle Nursery Cribs all state that they encrypt video, so encryption no longer separates them. The open question is what the encryption actually covers: whether recordings stored in the cloud use the same protection as the live feed, and whether a shared account can be revoked. Look for the details on the privacy and security page, since a yes on a product page does not say which data is covered.
