What is Account required?

Account required tells you whether a brand asks you to create a login and sign in before the product works as intended, for example to view a live feed or reach saved recordings. It affects daily use, because one login may need sharing with a partner, a grandparent or a sitter. Arenti requires an account, while ADC Solutions Auto, Amazon and babelio do not. An account often also gates history, so weigh it together with storage, whether clips can be shared and any running fee for extra space.
