What is Standards?

In short

Standards are the named safety rules a product is tested and certified against before it is sold.

Standards are the named safety rules a product must meet, and they tell you which market a seat was built for. The European rule and the United States car seat rule are not the same, and the United States stroller rule is separate again, so a seat tested to one is not automatically tested to another. AXKID lists r129 for its stroller range, while Baby Trend lists fmvss 213 and fmvss 213a for its car seats. Check the standard before you buy a seat for use in your country.
