What is Child height?
In short
Child height is the range of heights a car seat is built to fit, measured in centimetres.
Child height is how tall your child is, and a car seat states the span of heights it is built to fit. Height is what a seat's harness and shell are shaped around, so a seat that is too tall for your child gives poor support, and one that is too short is simply outgrown.
The spans here differ. Britax lists 112-160 cm, so its rear facing seats cover a tall range. AXKID lists 40-150 cm and Baby Plus lists the same span, so both start much lower for a newborn and keep going as your child grows. Baby Jogger lists up to 32 in (81 cm) and BeSafe lists 125 cm, which suits a smaller child. Read this alongside child max weight.
