What is Rotating?
In short
A car seat that turns on its base to face the door, so you can load your child without twisting and later check on them without turning around.
Rotating means the seat turns on its base so it can swing toward an open door for loading and toward the back of the car for travel. You load your child facing the door rather than twisting into a fixed seat, and a rear-facing setup can be checked without unbuckling. AXKID, Baby Jogger, Baby Plus, BeSafe and Britax all list a rotating option, so this is common in the category rather than a premium extra. Rotation does not decide safety on its own, so weigh installation, rear-facing limits and growth alongside it.
