What is Registry?

In short

A list a shop keeps for you to add the items you want, so friends and family can buy something you have chosen.

A registry is a wish list a shop keeps on your behalf, so you can add the cots, carriers and monitors you want and share it. Guests then buy an item you picked instead of something you already own, and you get a record of what arrived, which helps with returns and warranty claims. Albee Baby, Babylist, Babymarkt, Babypark and baby-walz all offer one. A registry does not lock you into a brand, so keep comparing prices elsewhere and use it mainly to organise gifts and track what you have already bought.
