What a toddler play set includes

Toy sets for young children usually bring together several pieces that encourage imaginative play and simple skills. Parents often look for bright, easy to grip shapes, sturdy handles and a clear age range on the packaging. Smaller pieces need extra care around babies, and a set with fewer loose parts is simpler to keep tidy. Storage that keeps every piece together helps the set last.

Checking toys for safety

Before giving a toy to a toddler, check that it is suited to the age range given and has no loose or small parts that could come off. Look for smooth edges, paint that stays put and materials that can be cleaned easily. Regular checks for cracks or worn joints help keep play safe as the toy gets older. Supervising play remains the most reliable safeguard.
